Sash Window Restoration, Replacement Sashes
This property benefited from high quality existing box frames meaning that along with some minor repairs, we were able to install replacement double glazed sashes (the sliding parts) into the existing box frames along with our sash window draught seal system.
Arched top sashes are always a little more challenging to manufacture however, with accurate templating and CAD design software we were able to match the existing profiles exactly. The replacement sashes were manufactured from Accoya for maximum service life and minimal maintenance. Being fully painted and glazed in our South Devon workshop meant the installation process was more time and cost efficient than replacing the entire windows.
The double-glazed sashes incorporated our unique perimeter draught seal system for maximum heat retention whilst eliminating rattles and reducing external noise pollution. Replacement lockable hardware completed the windows for maximum security.
